AFB, Inc has a position for an individual experienced in sales that can excel at brokerage of produce and refrigerated food truckloads. Our team is customer focused, fast paced and results driven while maintaining a friendly atmosphere.

Responsibilities Include: Evaluating shippers, receivers, and carriers against company requirements. Building and expanding a book of business in accordance with company objectives that result in long term relationships.

Negotiating freight charges with customers and carriers that result in acceptable brokerage fees.

Booking orders, hiring carriers, dispatching and mentoring drivers, scheduling deliveries, tracking and reporting on shipments and resolving problems.

Evaluating negotiating and processing of freight claims.

The candidates must be CLOSERS with the ability to take ownership and manage all that can happen in a transaction involving the transportation of a load of perishables.

Experienced in sales, shipping and receiving, transportation, etc.
